Watched Jailer 2 yesterday, at the 11 PM show — the last show of the night. And guess what? HOUSEFULL! ðĪ
Then came the Superstar Rajinikanth title on the big screen. The theatre erupted! Screams, whistles, cheers… The kind of madness that only Thalaiva can create. His mere presence on screen was enough to send the audience into a frenzy. ❤️ðĨ
Jailer 2 is a galaxy of superstars, with some interesting cameos along the way. But when Rajinikanth arrives, the equation changes. Everyone else seems to fade into the background. That is the aura of the one and only Superstar!
Yet, two performances that deserve special mention are SJ Suryah as Bodhi Kalpak and Vidya Balan as Kantha Kalpak. Both leave a lasting impression, not just on screen but also in the minds of the audience. Even after the movie ended, I could hear people discussing these two characters. That says a lot!
A face-off between Vidya Balan and Thalaiva in the next instalment? Now, that would be something to watch! And honestly, I am sure another chapter is on its way. ð
ðĩ Music and BGM: Outstanding! The background score perfectly complements Thalaiva’s larger-than-life presence.
ðĨ Cinematography: Excellent camerawork that adds to the cinematic experience.
ðĻðĐð§ðĶ Family Entertainment: One of the biggest positives for me. No unnecessary sensuous scenes or dance sequences, no excessive bloodshed. Everything feels restrained and balanced, making it an enjoyable family entertainer.
And then there is THE MAN HIMSELF — THALAIVA!
A pair of simple dark glasses. A cigar. That trademark screen presence.
He doesn't need extravagant action or elaborate dialogues to prove his stardom. His aura does all the talking. ðĨ
For a Thalaiva fan, watching Jailer 2 in a packed theatre is not just watching a movie. It is an emotion. An experience. A pilgrimage!
Verdict: A definite second watch! ❤️ðĨ
En vazhi, thani vazhi! ðĪ
